1.1 At least
one MORL League Director or Admin must be present for a race to be considered
official. The league may appoint any driver of their choice to serve as
the active official for any special circumstances that could arise.
1.2 All drivers must make pre race meeting on Teamspeak for race
day updates, track notes discussion.
1.3 Drivers can miss up to two pre race meetings because of special circumstances that include work, family, last minute emergency beyond your control, or computer trouble, and still be allowed to race but will take a provisional start. Drivers that miss more than two pre race meetings will be allowed to race however will only get provisional points. Drivers more than 5 minutes late to meeting will
take provisional.
1.4 All drivers must read pre race info and notes posted
on the MORL message board for each week’s race, and reply you’ve
read and if you will make or not make the race. Drivers who do not post
on pre race message board by set time will not be able to qualify. See
“Series Race Setup” for posting deadline.
1.5 Provisional points will be determined at the start
of the season based turnout at the first race and total membership and
issued for any driver once they have one one race in the current season.
1.6 Penalties will result in a subtraction of points
based on the rules infraction(s) committed. Penalty points will double
and triple for second and third time offenses to the same rule getting
broken in a race. Each offense broken after the third will result in race suspension
with no provisional points.
1.7 All drivers will save full replays and final race
standings for one week following the official league race. Drivers that
are asked for a replay clip that didn’t save without getting booted
from race…(-5).
1.8 All members will use the same name throughout the
season. If you use a different name than the one used for the first race
of season, you will not be scored correctly.
1.10 New drivers can be added during the season and
will be issued a FOUR race Probation Evaluation license for full membership
consideration. Drivers issued Probation Evaluation license will be permitted
to run points races.
1.11 If 50% of the members get booted in a mass boot
before the green flag (on the pace laps), the race will be restarted in
the warm up session. If there is a 50% mass boot after the green flag,
the race will be a rainout. Should a race not be able to start on time
because of server problems, or a mass boot occur prior to the completion
of qualifying, it will be considered a rain delay for up to one hour from
the scheduled practice start time. If after an hour the race still cannot
be started, it will be considered an official rainout. All drivers should
report back to Teamspeak voice chat.
1.11.1 A race may be restarted or held one time if a any member
does not get the drive button to enter a race or gets booted just beofore the start.
1.12 Races that are rained out, will be made up by using
races from the next season. All seasons will run the advertised amount
of weeks that are posted on the schedule. If a rainout occurs during the
last season, the rained out track will be used and added to the end of
the schedule.
The MORL reserves the right to make adjustments to the rules as needed
to make this a better league to race in.
